Living in California, we have access to super fresh, organic fruit year-round and it really makes a difference in the final product. Our Doubled Up Strawberry Salad has a strawberry vinaigrette as well as chopped strawberries on top and is so delicious and beautiful we eat it all the time.
Since we eat such a limited amount of food while on the HCG diet, it’s absolutely worth buying organic items. Also if you buy your food at a farmers market and buy food that is in season the prices will usually be comparable to large super markets.

Seasonal, beautiful strawberry salad with strawberry balsamic vinaigrette.
Ingredients
- 4 strawberries cut in quarters
- 4 cups mixed greens
- 1 recipe for strawberry vinaigrette
Instructions
- in a large bowl combine greens with strawberry vinaigrette. Toss until well dressed.
- Add quartered strawberries and serve.
