Tara and I have spent a majority of January traveling to Copenhagen and Paris. We had the MOST amazing time, however whenever I’m planning a trip the question always arises: will we or won’t we “cheat” while vacationing.
Typically, in between rounds of HCG rounds we stick to a low carb/primal pallet, however while we were planning out trip we made the conscious decision it was worth it for us to go all out while on our vacation.
What was the end result? I gained 6 lbs (and was already up 5 from the holidays) and Tara gained 10 lbs. In our opinion it was TOTALLY worth it.
A Plan to Loose the Vacation Weight
Since we anticipated gaining weight and wanted to jump back into our healthy lifestyle we decided beforehand that the first two weeks after we got back we not only do our general low carb lifestyle, but temporarily cut out dairy and limit our calories to 1800/day.
